They say that diamonds are a girl's best friend. This is a saying that has been used in song and in many other places as well, we use it so much that we don't really think about what it means. Why are diamonds are girl's best friend?

Diamonds, like platinum or gold are rare and when we wear jewellery that is made out of these elements it makes us feel special. Like a best friend, diamonds help you feel good about yourself, they put that extra spring in your step.
